Montessori Newborn Course

Did you know that during the first weeks of life, a baby’s brain forms over one million new neural connections per second? This rapid development lays the foundation for cognitive abilities, emotional regulation, and sensory processing. Early experiences—such as movement, touch, and interaction—shape the way neural pathways are strengthened and refined.

At Montessori Family Center, we believe that excellence can be cultivated from the very beginning, which is why we are committed to guiding and supporting you from the start.

Join our Montessori Newborn Course

The Montessori Newborn Class is a specially designed program for babies from 6 weeks to 4 months old.
Scientific research shows that early experiences are crucial for brain development, and our program is carefully structured to provide an optimal learning environment. It offers a nurturing space where infants can explore freedom of movement with thoughtfully selected Montessori materials, supporting their visual, motor, and cognitive growth in a scientifically backed way.

Parents will have the opportunity to learn from a trained Montessori specialist about how to apply Montessori principles at home. Beyond fostering intellectual growth and movement development, our sessions will also cover essential topics such as sleep, weaning, playing with your baby, language development, reading, and supporting each stage of movement progression.

How Montessori Newborn classes are conducted?

Entering the classroom

Classes begin with a calm and peaceful entry, where parents help their babies settle on a soft mat or carpet and remove outside clothing. This marks the start of a focused, relaxing experience.

Montessori Work Cycle

The classroom is set up with materials designed to support babies' development. Parents guide their babies to an area of movement, where they can explore chosen materials at their own pace. Each class includes a group discussion on the day’s topic, followed by individual time to connect with each family and address any specific questions or observations.

Observations & Note-taking

During each class, parents will take time to observe their baby’s development and progress. We encourage bringing a notebook to record your observations and insights. This will be helpful for tracking milestones and understanding your child’s needs.

Music Circle

To end the session, babies and parents come together for a Music Circle. We sing songs in multiple languages, and babies enjoy the calming music, while mobile babies may move freely.

We look forward to welcoming you and your baby to our Montessori Newborn course!
